I am a midwestern girl, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
I have always loved the outdoors, sunshine, and kind people. I am married to my best friend, Brandon, and together we have two incredible boys, Graham and Nolan. I am a stay-at-home mama, and a business owner of over 8 years. Photography is a passion of mine where I can express creativity and work with amazing people. I love this business and all the beautiful moments I get to experience.
Above all work and play is Jesus Christ. He directs my path and secures my freedom.
MY VISION
I am a lifestyle and documentation photographer. I capture my clients in their most comfortable, natural setting. My design style is centered around keeping the integrity of authentic moments, which is why you will almost always find me in soft, natural light. I love me a good golden hour, blue hour, or indoor space near a window. One aspect of this line of work that I can't get enough of is how unique each session is. There is a never-ending potential for growth and creativity.
BEHIND THE NAME
The name "Bernie Mae Studios" comes from my grandparents. My Grandpa's name is Bernard. My Grandma's name is Agnes Mae. For a girl who strongly values family, I love carrying them with me in this business.
